So true!

Clay plaques fixed to brick walls are a rather Victorian approach to remembering London’s many ghosts. The thousands who pass under the plaques rarely ever even see these badges of honour, often because their eyes are trained on their smartphones. Surely a crowdsourced blue-plaque app would better suit our modern age—and London's constant evolution http://econ.st/VFZhSY

wallowing in the wind...

The wind...

Today there was an incredible amount of wind all round! then it rained(as is custom) but the rain didn't matter; it was the wind that made me think... The wind blows and then blows things away...and it also carries things with it-leaves, dust, scraps of paper, missed handkerchieves, misplaced love letters, important notes that we so painfully organised only to have them flying past us as though they had formed little paper gliders!...it carries dew drops that the morning left behind, gives lightning a lift and announces the thunder, displays the fury of Nature and its wily version..it carries sounds of surprise, the noise of anger, chuckles and cheers over mild jokes to ease the stress, moans voicing healing wounds, softened tones with measured caution, cries to the skies revealing dreams being wept away, ringing bells that welcome people home, songs sung for the fun of it to celebrate being alive, sweet mellow melodies that calm us, soulful confessions rendered by people with so many secrets, and so much more!..and even-silence...

The wind carries all of these and conveys them from one place to another-it transports the trivial and terrible echoes that force us to face reality, sometimes help us hear our fountain of fortunes...

And in their midst I stand-wallowing in the wind... Why do I do so? I don't know! I honestly have no clue! But when something or the other strengthens or weakens me, elevates or pushes me down, makes me sob or bob and bounce with pleasure-whatever it may be-I stumble and shake out of both positive and negative types of extremes-because that is how I am! I need calming conditions and not the world caught in a whirlwind! I'm so sensitive that even the slightest increase in temperatures has me feeling like I'm getting burnt!...

I see, observe and then forget-as long as this sequence is followed I'm stable because I feel then let go. But the moment I get attached to any experience, i get entangled and confused and then-in a pickle(and it's too spicy for my palate)...

But still, one can't drift through life all the time. We will involve ourselves in things eventually, whether by whim or virtue or through tempting vice, and soon attachment will follow and we will be caught up in a tangled twisty tango of truths that'll keep us dancing dizzy! But mate, that's life!...
