So... I had some extra sock yarn lying around. So I made a mini puzzle ball. It's just about 12" around. I love how the wedges ended up creating 3 stripe patterns. The look on my friend's face when he was trying to assemble it was priceless. I used a E hook. Stuffing tip, roll the stuffing around in your hands a bit to "felt" it and give you something a bit more solid to work with.

Feedback I just sent to +Google+

The new notifications screen has added several more clicks and looks horrible.
Old: I would click the number in the circle, all my unread notifications would be listed and I could either click on them to read them or dismiss them. If I wanted to see previously viewed notifications, there was a simple click and they'd pop up.

Now: I click on the number in the circle and a hard to read list comes up. I have to click on each one that I want to read and it doesn't automagically disappear when I'm done. I then have to then X it out or dismiss the whole lot at the end. I no longer know for sure which ones I have or haven't looked at (the bold is easy to miss depending on resolution) and have to click multiple times to manage one notification.

And if I accidentally cleared out a notification or I want to go back to an old notification, I can't. I can't figure out a way to see the old notifications.

This, this is why I love this organization so. I may not like some program decisions, or like the licensing of our name/product flavors outside of cookie season, or some other things... but in the end, the mission of this organization is one I stand behind 110%.

#WIPWednesday is a scarf using some +LionBrandYarn Landscapes in Desert Spring. I had to frog back once yesterday almost to the beginning because majorly wacky stitch count. But, so far I like the star stitch with this yarn. Yarn was a Christmas gift from a non-yarn friend.... he did well.

A true hero and someone I admired....
We are saddened by the loss of Sen. John Glenn, the first American to orbit Earth. He also became a U.S. senator and later, at the age of 77 when he flew on the space shuttle, he became the oldest person to fly in space. Our deepest condolences go out to his dear wife Annie, his children, and the people who were inspired by him and loved him around the world. He was a friend, an astronaut and true American hero. Godspeed, John Glenn. Ad astra.

So... I started some dragon scale mitts and I'm only very loosely using the pattern....
Pattern uses a fingerings weight and an F hook. I'm using a heavy worsted and a G...
Pattern has scales all the way around. I'm only doing them across the back.....

This may be awesome or a train wreck, we shall see..... and hopefully I'll be able to do the same for the second....

The one thing I don't like about buying stickers from +Redbubble Corporate is the fact that 2 days after ordering you get a shipping notice, but without fail, they don't actually ship for another 3-5 days. Don't get my hopes up. It's been 9 days since I got the shipping notice and I should probably get them tomorrow.....
Good thing I found this out last time I ordered stickers and shopped early
(Almost missed my son's birthday last time....)
