Another magical place ideal for taking a break is Linville Falls. It is a waterfall   located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The scenery might be inviting for swimmers but swimming is prohibited in this area.

If you are driving through Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina make sure to plan a visit at the State Capital. You can find a lot of Statues and Monuments on Union Square. On of them is the North Carolina Veteran's Monument. For more infos and ideas visit:
