Happy 4th of July!

I go here frequently. Nice and friendly baristas. Coffee is good, espresso drinks are good, but bakti chai is my favorite. Teacher Tuesdays.

Loved the geriatric vibe! Old people need caffeine too. It was open mic night and everyone sang along with the opener. We were obviously not locals and the old folks checked us out thoroughly, though the younger waiting staff treated us like the rest of the patrons. Espresso was good but coffee a bit cold and weak. We got there at about 7 pm, however, and we appeared to be the only coffee drinkers. Will return for our next road trip.

Sight-seeing for the cliche, white man. This is history as we want it to be. The staff is friendly and helpful but I imagine this stop for large buses of foreigners that want affirmation about western pioneers. The execution is great with figures and dioramas but very little to interact with. Headphones provide an intesting dialogue.

Stopped for a quickie and it was a goodie. Hot Latte good, iced latte excellent. Variety of exotic beers including aged lager from netherlands for $11. We stuck with a local brew for mych cheaper Foosball in basement. Funny how everyone stopped what they were doing to watch us walk in. The cafe is freakier than us.

The TSA needs to assimilate this staff. 5 stars for the art and the grounds, but if you have children with you...you will be watched and followed. This detracted from the experience of seeing great works. Maybe Thomas Crowne stole some works from here as one staff actually asked me what have you got in your pockets! They were too suspicious.

Be sure to say hello when you walk in to great gyros and tasty baklava. Baba Ganoush homemade. Wine and beer available. Rather pricey and filling for a quick stop. You'll need a nap afterwards.

Sweet zoo for families with kids. Be sure to dinate lots of $. They'll get to hold animals like porcupines and coati and monkies. 1:00 is big cat and hyena feeding time. Hold phone through fence and they'll take a closeup of the critters for you. Bud and Carry are sweet and be sure to talk to them and they will share cool information with you. Bring water! Don't get too crazy if the monkey poops on you! Be ready to run when the fences collapse, too.
