Antico is a great place to take your friends and has a great atmosphere. I still have yet to find a pizza place in Atlanta that has knocked my socks off though. It's good pizza, but not the best I've ever had. It is better than many pizza places I've been to in Atlanta and definitely has the best vibe.

The food was alright. The pizza was certainly not bad and the ingredients were very fresh. But the pizza was overpriced and didn't offer anything worth the high price. Despite the high praises I've heard, it was a great disappointment. The setting was nice however, with large tables and a bustling atmosphere. But other things like the euro prices for the pizza was very tacky. I'm glad I was finally able to experience this place but I will never spend money there again.

The pizza is overpriced and is average/good at best. After ordering my food, I was shocked to see my order come to my table about 6-7 minutes later. Though the pizza had a great taste, it was terribly undercooked. In fact, I would call it uncooked towards the middle of the pizza. I won't be going back. For $20, the pizza should be perfect every time. Parking at this place is a nightmare, there's usually a line to order, and you usually have to fight just to get a table to eat at. There's better pizza in Atlanta - don't believe the hype.

My father is from Napoli, he grew up there and moved to America when he was 17. As some may not know, Napoli is the birthplace of pizza, pizza that is VERY different from what you typically see in America. Antico Pizza has the BEST Neapolitan pizza I've had and is one of my top three restaurants in Metro Atlanta, if you're looking for traditional Neapolitan pizza, this is the place to go. Some of the negative reviews I'm reading about Antico are clearly from people who are ignorant of traditional Neapolitan pizza. For starters, traditional Neapolitan pizza is thin, VERY thin, don't expect it to be stiff as a board. The pizza is cooked in a wood fire oven, just like in Napoli, EXPECT it to be burnt in some spots. They use San Marzano tomatoes, standard in Neapolitan pizza, the sauce won't be paste and will be a little wet. If you've never had traditional Neapolitan pizza, this it the place to try it, but if you come here expecting your typical American pizza, you won't find it here.

Any negative review you read about Antico usually starts like "My friends told me, I had heard of this place, People talk about this place" etc, etc. While you do have your right to favor Papa Johns, as the negative reviewers obviously do, you also have the right to experience true Napoli pizza (the birthplace of pizza) right here in ATL. And it's incredible. Go see for yourself, people's reaction to this place is usually to go tell everyone they know what an amazing experience they had. One of the best in the US , I have no doubt

Went last year and it was great. Went on Tuesday and not good. Our pizzas arrived less than two minutes after ordered, so they were obviously already made. The crust had gotten soggy in the middle like it had been sitting for a while. One of the pizzas had a burnt crust as though toppings were added and it was placed back in the oven for a minute or so like some cheap by the slice place. For the price I expect much better. Very sad to see such a good place go downhill so quickly.
