You forgot to mention that at the conclusion of his memoir collection there is a three word note: "I'll be back."

I would love to know who took our forecast and swapped it with the Death Valley's!?!?!?!?! It is super super hot here in Georgia and it is driving the smart people underground. I had plans this weeken...

Take note of the area highlighted in green. I have been running tests on the Mercury Playback Engine from Adobe. An interesting thing to note is with multiple GPUs installed (all based on FERMI architecture with CUDA support) the load is cleverly spread out. According to gpusniffer from adobe my middle GPU (GPU2 is a 9800GTX+ with 96 CUDA cores) did not have sufficient memory at 512Mb. The other two GPUs however were GTX560 Ti's with 1Gb video memory each. It seems Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 spread the load out over the GPUs by allocating one as the memory container (GPU3) and one as the processing device (GPU1). My results were impressive. The GPU set rendered the scene in about 15-20 seconds while the CPU struggled to complete in 5minutes. I will upload a chart next to display performance levels.

Just rebuilt my main server/computer based on the EVGA X58 Classified 3, 3 GeForce GPUs, 24Gb RAM, 120Gb SSDs, and a 1200watt power supply.

I signed up for the beta to help with testing and implementation. If you like gaming and own a copy of BF3 you should do it too!

All smart people move underground eventually. I'm in the process of picking out a nice cave right now in fact.

In a semi-official benchmark, I tested several GPU configurations with Adobe CS6. As stated by Adobe, the GPU acceleration really does "accelerate" rendering times. (Note this is not the same as the Export time which is still CPU driven). Enjoy this little graph I threw together.

lol its not a super detailed benchmark but its decent. I thought it was pretty cool. The big catch is ensuring that all the transitions and effects are CUDA based. If not then its still slow as molasses.

I have this game for PS3. Which means 1, no screenshots, and 2, said screenshots would be ugly anyway.

I had been in the market for a new or pre-owned car for a couple of years. I kept flipping back and forth on what I wanted and where I was going to get it. I decided on a 2014 Ford Mustang and began searching dealerships. I visited several dealerships where I received less than friendly service (including one salesman who gave me a business card and shuffled off to go address a "better" customer) or was given an outrageous price. Upon remembering that I knew a Ford salesman at AutoNation, I went right away to see Jerry Singer. Jerry gave excellent advice, answered my questions, and made my purchasing experience nearly pain free! If you are in the market for a new vehicle and want a fair, aggressively priced Ford or Lincoln go see Jerry Singer at AutoNation. You will not find a more helpful or honest car salesman!
