After more than 26 years as a highly successful Realtor in the Texas Hill Country, long-time Houstonian Susie Juravich, a broker associate with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, returned to her home city to continue selling residential real estate. Susie’s mainstay has always been her love of architecture and homes, and she began her career in Houston more than 33 years ago working and learning from top-producing agents as an assistant. From this early start, she was able to envision a new possibility in her life; create and build a business, with no “glass ceilings” and infuse her imaginative spirit into a lifelong pursuit of serving the lives of others.
Employing impeccable customer service, strategic marketing, precision pricing and expert negotiation to ensure her clients’ success, Susie strives to continually reinvigorate professionalism and integrity in every transaction. Organizationally, she has facilitated over 1,000 real estate transactions, land development projects, and commercial and residential property management projects.
An influential speaker, community leader, meditation/yoga teacher, and chaplain, Susie has given both technical and motivational speeches to audiences of up to 100 people for the last 22 years. Currently, she facilitates the Professional Women’s Breakfast Club of Clear Lake which nominated her as a Woman of Excellence for 2015. Susie grew up in Briargrove Park. A few childhood adventures that she most loves to remember are the crawdad hole at the end of Holly Springs, the wild berries that grew along the now Beltway 8, and exploring the banks of the Buffalo Bayou. Susie is the proud mother of adult children Marie Ellensohn and Mark Richardson. Marie and husband Chris Ellensohn, a soldier in the U. S. Army, are the parents of grandchildren Tori, Colin, Kyla and Keelie. Mark, a Captain in the U. S. Army, is married to Lindsay Richardson who is at the start of a professional nursing career.
Susie embraces all opportunities to connect with family and friends, create workshops for professional groups, and spend time in nature. A certified yoga instructor since 2010, she begins retreats and special gatherings with meditation and/or yoga practices. Family always comes first and in Susie’s mind, everyone she meets becomes part of her extended family. She especially enjoys traveling and forging new relationships, and each person Susie comes to know quite often becomes a treasured connection.
