It is good step by KUHAS, it has come forward to set right many matters in order to put an accountability, many private colleges only collect money to run the parent and teacher associations, Many colleges have no full time principals and dummy Vice Principals or any one the managements nominate act as real principals, whereas honest and principled faculty are harassed by these fraudulent people who runs by grouping who toe their line, it is certainly need of the hour there should be voice of the students by democratically elected system to be heard at least they have voice to raise of the truth of the facts on many wrong matters, the great fraudulent people in many private medical continues to many retired and seniors who manipulate the matters, and truly speaking the people acting as administrators influence the departments on criteria of student eligibility to send for examination and it is just a matter of their convenience to enjoy the boot in many private medical colleges, and many colleges have no regulations to majority of senior faculty who are many times enjoying the matters under the regulation of MCI and many students are afraid to talk anything they are just examiners, If we really look into matters we hardly find any seniors from Thursday onward Kerala is a progressive state, with many literates, and should be a model to improve many matters, I wish it is just not the discipline of the students teachers too is important and appointing academically competent and regular principals is the need of the HOUR in all medical colleges even in KERALA

CAN MBBS DOCTOR DO A POST MORT-EM The topic opens a Pandora box of forensic medicine departments and autopsy what is wrong practices going on in the system we work, It was a different past till 90's there were established departments of forensic medicine in Medical colleges and full fledged facilities to train the Undergraduates to train in basics in doing a post mortem With mushrooming of the private medical colleges we have few professors to work as full time teachers, and there are restriction and permission to do post postmortems in private Medical colleges,We are producing plenty of undergraduates who have no idea what post mortem is and law and regulation of medical registration makes them eligible to do post postmortems, True facts many in private medical colleges and Medical council of India promoting the MD forensic medicine graduates reach the ranks of professors not doing a single postmortem and we know many are producing scientific paper on unrelated matters to realize the system rotten with all manipulations a true rot is generated as these Professors are really not fit for doing a simple postmortem in future leave alone the competency of their students, Unfortunately no body wish to join MD Forensic Medicine in view of litigation and many people in power and rich influence the profession than any other branch of Medicine, as it continues few to do postmortems, with competency leading to wrong criminal justice system, however the system to run as a regulation all the doctors who need to be authorized to do post mortem has to have a short course of training in real time issues and practical approach in protecting justice with competency
However the MBBS Doctor can do a post Mort-em legally YES but not professionally
