STILLE invented the SuperCut scissors in 1982. They have unparalleled performance in soft tissue. STILLE’s SuperCut scissors have specially designed cutting surfaces—a combination of scissor and knife edges, so they cut themselves forward. SuperCut scissors cut with high precision right to their tip. Their special sharpening makes them ideal for right or left-handed surgeons. Just like all scissors, SuperCut need regular sharpening. When it is time for sharpening, STILLE’s tenured instrument craftsmen ensure that scissors are sharpened with maximum precision.

Setting new low-dose standards in the OR. The STILLE imagiQ2 surgical imaging table represents an important advance in developing the low-dose technology field.
The exceptionally low attenuation (0.4 mm AI) carbon fiber table top of the STILLE imagiQ2 and its True Free Float® technology allows for faster, smoother and more accurate movements. These features help save time in the OR and minimize the need for C-arm adjustments that could contribute to overheating, without compromising image quality.

STILLE was proud to have helped Castro, a Sumatran tiger residing at the Sacramento Zoo in California who received a procedure to insert two stents from his kidney into his bladder in order to give him relief from kidney stones. About 30 different specialists including a human Urologist and Interventional Radiologist participated in the procedure that thanks to donated equipment and time, the procedure cost will only be $2,000 instead of over $10,000. Fewer than 500 Sumatran tigers are believed to exist in the wild, and approximately 200 live in zoos around the world.

Precision, durability and feel are characteristic qualities of all STILLE instruments. The vast majority are handcrafted by our highly skilled instrument makers in Eskilstuna, west of Stockholm, Sweden. The instruments’ journey from a rod of stainless steel to a finished instrument is a long one, involving multiple stages. STILLE’s unique method of crafting its instrument materials, and its usage of only the very highest-grade steels, give our instruments their unique feel and durability. Learn more at www.stille.se
