Cold, uncaring staff who denied us the opportunity of watching one of our favorite artists. Detail - It was the first time my wife & I visited this venue, we had bought our tickets online in advance. The counter staff refused to let us into the show as we came a few minutes past the 8 pm starting time. We noticed the auditorium in the CCTV monitors and saw audience was still being seated - we pointed out that the show has not yet started and pleaded to please let us in. Both counter staff stated it was their supervisors orders not to let anymore people up and seemed afraid to call upstairs to clarify if we could enter. We were informed that an exchange is usually offered when a customer misses a show, and that we should wait for the supervisor to return. My wife tried to make them understand that we wanted to watch this show, since the artist has specially come to Dublin for a cultural week and may not return here again. We were asked to wait for the supervisor. We lost 5 more minutes helplessly watching the audience settle down in the CCTV monitors. When the supervisor returned, the staff brought us to her attention, but she categorically refused to let us enter the show. The show had still not yet begun at that stage, and we could see people walking along the aisles on the CCTV, which she said were photographers. She could see we were so disappointed and yet refused to even offer an exchange stating that their "terms and conditions are very clear that there are no refunds or exchanges". This was contrary to what the counter staff told us 5 minutes ago. I thought the supervisor's unsmiling, robotic response was cold and uncaring. I told her what happened here is not right, and there should be a small degree of flexibility to customers who care about the arts, especially since we still had time to be seated. It became clear we were speaking to the wrong person. We said we would like to lodge a complain about this episode, and we were amazed to see her scribble down a phone number on a Post It note instead of giving us a complaint form. We requested for an email address where we could send a written complaint, which she jotted down on the same note. Advice - If you do really have to go to the Project Arts center, go there 20 minutes before the show as stated by the supervisor. As for us, this incident will make us think twice before supporting any more shows at the Project Arts Center.

another of the group 91 projects. this one designed by shay clery architects. that blue! the outside is painted a shocking yves klein type blue - and works! there is an exhibition space on the ground floor and on the first a theatre. there is also a theatre (with flexi options) on the ground. they show lots of avant garde work here

I'm currently availing of their free wifi and espresso! This is a great place to work out of for a few hours each day, it's pretty quiet but there's usually an exhibition worth checking out or a play or installation to see. Great facility in temple bar!

This is a great place to head to if you're around the area and in the mood for a night of theatre. You're always bound to find something new to watch. The space itself is good for a look around or a drink in the bar upstairs. One of Temple Bar's landmarks for me.

great place in the middle of temple bar. during dublin's culture night, you can visit the artist's studios.
