Red Rock Point, Glacier National Park
Not too much snow at this spot, but there still is enough snow on the ground to go sledding up near Logan's Pass even this time of year!

Multnomah Falls, Oregon
Of all the states I have visited this year as I've travelled across the country, Oregon has been the most beautiful. This image typifies the state: lush, green and replete with waterfalls.

You cannot help but be awed as you drive through.

Space Needle
Seattle has an awesome downtown with a ton to do. Pike's Market, the original Starbucks store, the Museum of Popular Culture- not to mention the Space Needle. We had a few days in Seattle before moving on, but it was a fun town. I know +Jennifer Elhajj is writing up a post on a bunch of things to do in the city. I'll share that when it's done.

One of the images from my upcoming review of +Sony's new a9. Review is coming soon!

A Golden Sunset at Joshua Tree
Joshua Tree is one of those magical surreal places where what is is not what you expect should be. I remember being set to leave when I saw the clouds looking they just might look good that night.

I decided to park it and wait about 40 minutes to get the look I was looking for for this scene.

San Jacinto: Wonderland
This is a really cool spot and believe it or not, it's in the desert not too far from Palm Springs. Coolest part is you have to take the world's tallest cable car up 8000+ feet to get to the top of the mountain. The car rotates all the way up so you get a 360 view of the area.

You could also hike it if you're so inclined, but that would be a lot more involved for obvious reasons!

I got here the day after a fresh snow and everything was just perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

The Oregon Coast: Cannon Beach

Oregon was one our favorite states to see. The Oregon coast is absolutely magical and this was one of the last images I captured before heading north to Washington.

It took me two days to capture this image. Light was generally flat, the rain came in regular bands making it tough to setup, and there were a good amount of people at these rocks over the weekend.

It all worked out in the end though and I'm really happy with the final image.

Yosemite: El Capitan in the Late Afternoon

First post in my collection of travel images. I haven't been on g+ in a while. I've been traveling quite a bit and wanted to do things:

1. Share some of the images I've captured while traveling the country
2. Do some work on my circles and see who's still around!

So here goes. This is Yosemite's El Capitan late the afternoon on a clear cloudless sky. You can practically drive up to this spot as you make your way through the valley.

Got out to shoot on a foggy early morning in Arkansas.

Beale Street, Memphis
If you haven't heard Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn, go find it with all haste because you're missing out! For those of you who have heard it, no I was not 10 feet off of Beale. I was smack dab in the center of it.

Off to the Meteor Crater, AZ in a few minutes. San Diego is another few days away, but not before stopping at the Grand Canyon tomorrow for a bit.

More images to come in :)

Savannah Scene
The ride slowed down just enough for me to shoot this scene while on Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Fun times! Looking forward to Disneyland in December. No girafffe, but it'll still be awesome. Looking forward to Cars Land out there
