Lofts at Kendall Square, formerly Archstone Kendall Square Apartments, provide modern living in one of the hottest neighborhoods in Cambridge. This loft/duplex community sits in the heart of Cambridge, between the Charles River and Harvard Square with easy access to the MBTA. Our community is a renovated factory so you'll find unique floor plans, massive windows and soaring 12 to 24' ceilings. Our open floor plans feature exposed beams, columns and natural light filled rooms.

We lived here for about a year before we moved for a job change. When a better position here in Cambridge came up we immediately called to see what was available in our old building. It just has so much character with exposed beams, exposed bricks etc. The staff are fantastic and we will be living here for a long time to come.

The high ceilings, really help bring out the apartment units. You can also rent out the original ceilings, or renovated ceilings so it doesn't look so factory-like. Apartment units are spacious, and very comfortable. Also is close to Kendall Square red line stop

We lived there for two years (2008-2010) and the management is great. Tthey always fixed things immediately, and they still call me when when I have packages that are delivered there, even though I moved out a while ago. It's a real loft in the sense that the building used to be a factory. The ceilings are super-high. Some people may not like the fact that the building is huge, but it was great for us and our kids in the winter. Taking the walk to the mailbox was a fun activity for our four-year-old. There are a mix of folks in the building, including a few families, students, and lots of professionals sharing apartments. The prices are quite steep, but I guess that's what you pay in the neighborhood.
