Best string cheese I've ever had, and the garlic dill cheese curds are PHENOM. The cheese is almost worth the insane shipping charges I pay to have it shipped four hours south to IL. However, the reason for the bad review is that their customer service is just AWFUL, specifically Jody, who is just so rude and unpleasant both times I've had to deal with her because there was an issue with my order. And when you ask for a manager or someone to call you back, no one ever does. If you're in the neighborhood, its definitely worth a visit. However, spare yourself the headache of having to deal with their warehouse and don't order online.

My fiancé and I first contacted Katlia Construction because we saw their ad for a roofing special which they were running in the paper. We needed a new roof so we couldn’t pass up the idea of a free consultation with a home remodeling advisor. The office was very professional when I called to set the appointment. It took a day or so to schedule our free consultation because the office wanted both decision makers present. Once my fiancé and I were able to be home at the same time, they scheduled an advisor to come out and talk to us about our roofing options. The advisor was very knowledgeable and pointed out areas where we were actually losing money through our roof. One of these areas being that we didn’t have any attic insulation. He offered to price out both the roof, and the attic insulation for us. He was very thorough in taking measurements of both our roof and our attic. He then pointed out that our gutters should also be replaced, as this is a standard when you get a new roof. We are new homeowners, and definitely consider our home an investment. So we asked him to also provide a price for gutters. He explained we should go with oversized downspouts to help get the water away from our house, and that we should definitely add a leaf protection system. It took a bit longer than expected to get the quote. However, once we received his proposal we were surprised at how detailed it was. He gave us pricing for each option, and while it was more pricey than we expected he also showed us on an energy chart how over the years this would save us money. When it came time to project scheduling, the project manager contacted us to let us when the dumpster would be arriving. There were scheduling issues due to rain, but once the project day came we were surprised at how many roofers showed up. Roofing is a messy job, and the team at Katlia warned us of this. The roofing team did their best to protect our shrubbery and garden with plywood and tarps. The crew even went over our yard four times to collect any nails in the yard. Next up was our gutters, and the gutter team was very courteous and precise in their placement. Katlia sent in a different team for the insulation and we have already noticed a decrease in our electric bill! Overall we were very pleased with the project and staff at Katlia. My now husband wants to use them for our master bathroom remodel next, and we can’t wait to work with their staff designer! We would recommend them to anyone looking to invest in their home.

Um, this place just called and left the bride to be a voicemail SIX MONTHS BEFORE HER WEDDING DATE (and after taking thousands of dollars of her money mind you) stating that they overbooked and will most likely not be able to accomodate her wedding and honor their contract. This place run by ignorant crooks. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS.

THIS PLACE IS AWFUL. IF I COULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE HAD SINCE MOVING TO STREAMWOOD. My first order with this place ever the guy who took my order completely forget my portion of the order. When I called to point it out, he said they didn't charge me for it. Well, the guy clearly remembered that I ordered it because I asked if they could make it non-spicy and when he said yes than I said I'd order a small. He had no answer as to why he forgot it. I would have paid for a replacement if they would have delivered it but he told me that it would be 45 minutes (I live five minutes away). I would have gladly driven there to pick it up if it was no charge since it was clearly his error, but he wouldn't do that either. At that point I was so angry and hungry I hung up in tears. My husband called back and asked to speak to the manager but was told he wouldn't be in until Wednesday and the guy that was there and in charge didn't speak English. I am just appalled at the sheer lack of customer service here and will never ever order from this place again. I suggest you steer clear of this place as well. Which is a shame because its so close and I do love Chinese food.
