It's amazing how computers can be so small, yet this operation is enormous. It's like something out of the Forbin Project.

Ha! This is awesome stuff. Glad to see oh-so-serious Honda showing a little humor. I think a good rubberized case can do the job as well as airbags but for the sake of humor, this is great.

Hey New Scientist, why the 4:3 videos? It's not 1992 you know. Try some 16:9 HD next time.

Got a great kid, stepson and wife. And I live in Eden (aka Portland). Bragging complete.
Education
  • U. S. Grant High School
    Journalism, 1980 - 1984
The usual stuff, plus a lot of photography and journalism. I also ran film projectors, early video equipment, handled sound for assemblies, drama productions and so forth. Yep, pretty much the A/V guy.
  • University of Oregon
    Journalism/Film, 1986 - 1992
Took a lot of breaks to earn money for school but made it through eventually. BS in Communications/Journalism. Worked at KEZI as a staff writer/reporter while in school.
  • Mount Hood Community College
    Radio Broadcast/Audio Engineering
Most of the work I did at MHCC was to get the simple stuff out of the way before I went to Oregon, but I spent a lot of time in their broadcast studios, did some DJ work and mixed some sound as well. Good stuff.
