At the front of the Z Ocean Hotel, the Front Porch Cafe was a pretty good breakfast spot. With good indoor/outdoor seating options and a pretty broad breakfast menu, my whole family found good items. Our son had the scrambled eggs and fruit cup off the kids menu. It was a lot of food for a kids' dish -- at least three eggs, he couldn't finish it. It also came with nice toast. Our daughter had the challah french toast, also served with fruit. She couldn't finish it either, getting through just over one piece (out of three) and eating some of our son's eggs. She ate the fresh fruit right up. My wife customized the ham & cheese croissant, adding eggs. It was HUGE. She couldn't finish it. She also enjoyed her fruit cup. I had the regular breakfast burrito, adding sausage to it and removing the cheese. It was very good. Lots of sausage and mushrooms, with a nice pico de gallo (a bit wet though). The lettuce under the burrito (unnecessary decoration) was unwashed, and had dirt on it, kind of gross. The fruit cup, again, was delicious, and I devoured it. The service was a bit slow, but par for the course in Florida. Location is decently clean, great bathrooms, although in the hotel, so a bit away from the restaurant. Across the street is an awesome park, and lots of fun stuff to walk around and see afterwards. Wouldn't travel for Front Porch, but if you're in the neighborhood. (traveler's note; most of the other weekday breakfast options we could find were either IHOP or Denny's, neither of which we would go to so options are limited. For that reason Front Porch gets a 4 star instead of 3 star rating)

The friendly staff made this experience a good one. The Food was ok. I was expecting bigger portions. Its open air concept is beautiful. All in all it's a great place to eat after a night of partying on south beach.

If you ever go to Miami Beach, please be sure to check out The Front Porch Cafe. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was superb, and the service was fantastic.

I usually like to try multiple places to eat when I travel around. That being said, I ate here three times in a 24 hour period while in Miami. Love the breakfast here. It can't be beat. I won't even attempt to try and find something better cause it's not gonna happen. Get the french toast. Or get the pancakes. Or get the granola with yogurt and fruit. Expect to leave with a smile and a full stomach. Oh yeah, their coffee is superb as well.

The French toast and potatoes! The French toast was full of orange zest but not overwhelming. Lightly covered with powder sugar it provided a awesome new and original French toast experience. The potatoes definitely tie into the theme of the front porch experience by being a taste of home away from home! As an Arkansans I know good southern potatoes and these are it! Great friendly service and quick delivery of your meal. Dress during the day very casual and beachy, FYI.

This is the kind of place I discover on googling and following the feeling of the reviews and I must say those totally confirmed my feeling. The food is good and the service is absolutely great: guess when you arrive late and ask if they still serve? The person welcoming you is honest enough to tell you they are still open but the kitchen only for a 45 mn more and he would understand to recommend another place for is on Ocean Drive. We decided to stay to enjoy this high level of service and kindness with great food on the outdoor...

While I was in Miami, I searched Google for a place to have breakfast. This one was on top of the list and close by so decided to go there. Ordered egg Benedict. The menu said canadian bacon, all it as a thin slice of processed meat on burned English muffin and so so sauce. It was served with cold fries. There are better restaurants around with better quality and lower prices. Not sure how it got to top of the list.
