For over 20 years, Amerigo has been a local Nashville favorite. Authentic Italian pastas, hand-made pizzas, fresh seafood and wood-fired steaks offer something for everyone at Amerigo. And if your tastes veer toward wine, you'll find everything from affordable, every day wines to single vineyard varietals from Piedmont to Sicily.

Amerigo serves lunch and dinner daily, as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Early bird is available daily between 4-6pm, and we offer over 15 gluten-free dishes to choose from.

Reservations, private dining and catering services are available for groups of all sizes.

Chicken Margarite was fantastic. So much, I'm taking home a box to go. Great prices and atmosphere. Jonathan is such a friendly manager. Love the atmosphere. I'll be back.

I've been to this restaurant twice in the past 6 months. After a pretty bad experience with the taste of food the first time around, I thought I'd still give it a second try and taste something different. The first time we ordered the Cheese fritters and Artichoke Cheese dip for appetizers. The Cheese fritters came cooked, but cold, like they've been prepared hours in advance. Because they were cold the cheese was very thick and just didn't taste great. The Artichoke dip was extremely salty, although they were still edible, but I just couldn't enjoy them. For the main course I had the Mac & Cheese which was average. On our second visit (a few month later) we did the mistake of ordering the Cheese Fritters again. They came the exact way they did the first time around, cold and unpleasant at all. For the main course I tried the Eggplant Parmesan. Let me say that this was the most unflavorful and awful Eggplant Parmesan I've ever had in my life. I could not even force myself to eat my dish. Although the atmosphere of Amerigo is quite nice and the staff are friendly, but I will not be visiting Amerigo ever again, nor do I recommend anyone does.

Great Italian food that is reasonably priced. The service can be hit or miss, however. Sometimes fantastic, sometimes very slow and inattentive.

Party of 2. No reservations. Told there would be a 40 minute wait. After 1 hour, told we were at the top of the waiting list. A restaurant that cannot seat 2 people between 6 & 7 pm -- I do not understand. Large groups of 5 or more, that is understandable that they would wait a while without a reservation. Very disappointed. The staff at the front desk were not helpful & not concerned that we were waiting such a long time. And we weren't the only frustrated people waiting that night. Management should review how walk-in customers are handled/served while seating those that have reservations. We left Amerigo's. Went to another restaurant.

Our experience was mixed. The atmosphere and service were amazing, as was my fiancee's cedar plank porkchop (I shared his and it was one of the BEST meals I have ever had). BUT the 5 layer lasagna I ordered was subpar at best. Too much sauce (noodles were swimming in it) and not very flavorful. I hate to say it... but it remind me of lean cuisine meals.

Rock-steady and reliable for Italian, never had a bad meal there in the 20 years that I've been eating there (probably longer). High marks for quick, attentive service from crisp, white-aproned servers. Chicken Margerite is Amerigo's take on the classic tomato & basil dish and they do it well; plump chicken breast and a nice chunky tomato sauce.
