Yolk, how do I love thee. This place has some seriously good breakfast food. Lovely poached eggs, spicy chorizo, chipotle spiked hollandaise on top of a toasted English muffin - so good! All of the eggs benedict plates come with fruit salad. Legit fruit salad. Not 2 cubes of honeydew and cantaloupe but a bunch of grapes, fresh orange slices, and fresh pineapple. Because we wanted to be heffa status we also ordered red velvet french toast to share - slices of red velvet cake swirled with cream cheese frosting french toasted and served with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. *DEAD* Refuse to eat red velvet cake any other way now. Service is friendly and attentive and no lines on the weekday for this location.

Stumbled upon Mity Nice looking for a casual but tasty place to eat tonight (day 1 of a 4 day adventure). They've got just the right sized menu with enough variation so that everyone is happy but not so much that you're feeling overwhelmed (or wondering what ingredients are getting old in the kitchen). Two of us got the beer samplers (2 of the 3 samples were winners). We shared the macaroni and cheese (creamy, sharp, but mellowed by the addition of light beer - super good) and deviled eggs (sprinkled with bacon). I had the chopped chicken salad (perfectly dressed, huge portions), my friend had the whitefish special (nicely seasoned, crunchy breading), and we shared the carrot cupcakes (super good, moist, not too sweet, perfect amount of frosting). Service was on point. Our server was friendly, genuine, and informative. Would definitely recommend.

Great lil' Filipino place tucked onto the outskirts of Chinatown on Kreta Ayer St. I'd recommend the crispy pata, sisig, and palitaw - which ps is super gigantic and omg delicious when eaten warm and straight from the kitchen.

This is my go-to, no frills pho place. My friends and I have been coming here for so long that they recognize us. I get the side eye from them if I show up with a different group of friends or do something strange like order to go. Faves are the regular pho, the veggie fried egg rolls, and the vermicelli bowls. Cleaner than most other pho places but with the same blunt service.

This place has moved to a larger location in the same complex. They still serve both types of bibimbap - the regular hot stone stuff you're used to and a healthier, salad-y version that is equally tasty. I always, always get the fried fish healthy bibimbap. Thin slices of fish are dredged in an eggy batter, lightly fried, and then served with lettuce, carrots, and other veggies. On the side you get the requisite Korean pepper paste and a bit of kim chi. The new place is spacious, the service (both there and to-go) is friendly and easy, and the food is consistent.

Tofu House has ruined me for all other tofu soup places. If it doesn't taste like this, I don't want it. I didn't even like tofu until I started coming here. My favorite is the combination tofu soup (medium) and an order of tofu pancakes. I've never had the potato banchan anywhere else but always look forward to it here. The only thing they don't have is the anchovy banchan from the Tofu House in Santa Clara. If they did, I might explode from happiness.
