Story

Passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, marathoning, violin, travel, gourmet food, and life!
Introduction
Working on a dual-PhD at CMU; my area of concentration is commercialization and academic entrepreneurship. My wife is my best friend.  I have run 3 marathons and will be running two more in 2011 (SLC, July and Richmond, VA November).  I have played the violin for 22 years and one day, I would love to be a gourmet chef!

If you live in Pittsburgh and need a Christmas tree, go to 43 Verona Rd., Pittsburgh, PA (412-242-6329) - one of the best family run businesses I have ever encountered (that is why I am spreading the word) - great service, trees and prices beat out Home Depot and Lowe's

I share this because I am passionate about personal finance. This is an interesting article that shows people would benefit greatly from better understanding needs vs. wants. My financial tip for the week: give yourself and others the gift of not carrying unnecessary debt with you into the new year, which will make you a nicer person to be around throughout the year. Think of it as an investment that will pay off dividends.
