Great market with some amazing fresh fruits, cured meats, fresh seafood, and these amazing $1 fresh juices. There are also a couple of tapas joints inside as well. Perfect for a walk around if you are a little hungry, there is plenty to snack on here. Some items aren't practical from a tourist perspective, like buying a fresh squid. This is a stop I would definitely recommend in your travel in Barcelona. It does get tight around here so I would keep your belongings close.

Its a must see place if you are in Barcelona visiting even if you don't want to buy anything you can enjoy the sights, sounds and colours that the market delivers. There are great smoothies at cheap prices and boxes of fruit, ideal for the hot weather! Its just off La Ramlas and does get a little squished, so breathe in, hold on tight to your handbag and enjoy it for all it has to offer! It is a very photogenic place too so take your camera.

An "indoor" market with lot's of fruits and meats. The prices are okay, 2 euro for a fresh juice. The streets are small but that helps the atmosphere. Watch out for your belongings though, I think it's a place with a lot of pickpockets (although I didn't see one). It's on the Ramblas so it's a great place for a quick stop if you are thirsty. :)

Such an awesome place... a treat for one's sight, smell and tastebuds... from natural sweets of cherries, berries and fruits... to man made delicacies of nougat, chocolate, and candies... hams and fish... no effort to appreciate and admire.

Great place and a must see if you are visiting Barcelona. The place is amazing and has fresh fruit, veg, fish and meat. You can also purchase sweets (which were very popular). Although the photos are amazing, you have to go here to get the real la Boqueria experience.

The most spectacular food market in Barcelona also home to many great little bars and restaurants. Outstanding colourful Market where most of the stands are run by the fourth generation of stallholders with shops selling all types of food and restaurants preparing fresh and tasty dishes.
