That reminds me of the SERVICE I got from my glasses store.
Amazing peppers and they pair so well with that soya garlic dressing!
You might not know this by looking at me but I have a "permanent record" at a couple of retailers. Many years ago I got one with a store whose name I'd rather not divulge, so I'll just say it rhymes with Chuckle. I got this r...

It looks like a very tasty drink!
One thing I love about shopping at local farmers markets is that you get to discover local foods, that may be new to you. It was in North Carolina that I first had muscadine grapes, these grapes are native to the area and grow really well. They can be eaten, made into a juice, a wine or jellies.

A very sweet and beautiful tribute to your parents.  The shortcake with strawberry sauce looks amazing!
You know, forever is a very long time. I think about this as Mother's Day and Father's Day come and go every year. My mother died when I was just 21 and I lost my dad 15 years ago so I have been missing them for what seems li...

I too love soups! This looks so fresh and tasty.
We love soups at our house in fact it is something my hubby asks me to make, the beauty of using in season produce is that flavor will be at its peak, and using a simple recipe the ingredients will shine. I made this one in the spring when new potatoes were in season one of my favorite farmers ...

You have been traveling, haven't you? A very beautiful town!
En route to North Carolina's Outer Banks we stopped for a night in Edenton. I had read about it as one of America's prettiest small towns its steeped in history and this made it a big draw to me. Its North Carolina's first colonial capital so it has British roots and boosts the States oldest ...

I love those jerk shrimp! This is a lovely dish, Rebecca.
One of our favorite ways to cook rice is this Caribbean inspired recipe I learn from a trip to Turks and Caicos, its easy to make and it transports you to a sunny Island. The day we cooked this, fresh wild caught local shrimp were on sale, good shrimp is perfect to lightly season and grill it ...

It must have been a great birthday party! I have never had Israeli couscous and I love what you did with this salad. It looks absolutely delicious with pine nuts.
For those of you with children out there, this one is for you.  You will know exactly what I mean when I say that my kids are big now but they will always be my babies. I now find myself in a role very new to me, being a yes ...
