El Techo de Lolinda took over the roof patio that used to be Medjool. It's been completely redone, and gone are the blaring speakers that made it impossible to hear your dining companions. The brunch service in particular is truly worth your time. From the super accommodating service staff, to the delicious egg dishes and afternoon cocktails, to the heated rooftop views of the Mission - you really can not go wrong. So order a michelada, some beignets and benedictos, sit back and take in the Mission Street entertainment below.

Great place to get food and drinks on a warm evening. There's a line, but it moves quickly - make sure to get a table so you can enjoy your chips and guac and drinks comfortably. Favorite dishes = guac (amazing!) and ceviche. Everything is reasonably priced and easy to share, including the strong margarita pitchers. The view is great and when it starts getting dark, they provide candles and heat lamps to take you through the night. It can be a bit of an effort to bring in friends who arrive later than you - befriend the waitstaff early so they'll radio in your friends, VIP-style. Kind of a hassle, but still worth it.

I love that Lolinda took over this rooftop bar. The last one was really lame and Lolinda, gave it a really cool lounge/bar vibe on a rooftop with a great view of the city! I went on a weeknight and have no clue how this place is on weekends but I'm guessing its crazy busy. Weekday was perfect though. They have plexiglass walls on the sides so the wind isn't freezing your face off and they have plenty of heat lamps when it gets chilly at night. The service was quick although not really informed about the drinks, the Chilcano was my favorite: pisco, fruity, limey, with a chili rim. The chips and guac are aright but I've had much better chips elsewhere and the guac is above average. Next time I want to check out the real Lolinda but this was my introduction and I can't wait to come back for more.

Charming, roof top bar in the heart of the Mission District. The drinks and latin bar snacks are delicious -- have dinner at Lolinda (which is amazing), and come up for drinks afterwards! The hot chocolate with mexican tea cookies can feed a party of 4 :)

Cute little rooftop bar with city views! We discovered it when we were walking home in the evening. We got a table close to the bar immediately. They also serve snacks. We had to wait a little while for the waiter to take our orders. The cocktails were very strong!

Best for its views, sunset or nighttime. An ideal rooftop space, and plenty of heat lamps mean it's still a great spot even when it's chilly out. There's a slight markup in price compared to other local options.
