We had a reservation for 7:15. 40 minutes after that we were still waiting to be seated. We gave up and went next door to Bistroquet and had a delightful meal. We will never return to Et Voila.

The duck confit was excellent--well seasoned and perfectly cooked--and the apple crumble dessert was simply amazing. Awesome spot for great Belgian/French cuisine!

the sweet, plump moules alone are a reason to come to this cozy cafe. servers are knowledgable, attentive without being intrusive, and with just a bit of attitude--the good kind. reservations are a must, and if you eat early, the line at the door for tables discourages lingering. the only complaint is that the kitchen is a bit heavy-handed with the salt.

Despite having a reservation, we were kept waiting in the front for 30 minutes. Once seated, we were asked to move so a party of five could sit at our four top. (We were a party of 3) The waitress assured us that it was a nice table and quieter. Hardly. We were put at the communal table right outside the kitchen door. I like Et Voila but I believe they are a victim of their own success.

This restaurant is fine, but I'd probably skip it and go across the street to Sur La Place. The mussels are good here, but better over there. I do like the little patio for seating, but the service is sub par and they sort of forget about you when you're outside.

Wonderful little Belgian place. Very authentic, with a high end restaurant twist everything. The pate muscles and fries were perfect.

I have never written a review on a restaurant before but we were so unhappy with Et Voila that I felt I must warn others before they make a mistake by going there. This was our fourth time dining there. We had enjoyed the first three times....not five star but pleasant for a neighborhood restaurant. Last night we arrived and were seated immediately. He took our drink order and was back in less then five minutes for our dinner order. We hadn't even opened our menus. He persisted every two to three minutes. Finally we ordered. The appetizers were there within five minutes. They tried to take them away before we were finished. Two of the four dinners came immediately and the other two came five minutes later - making the first two cold because we waited until all were served. Twice they tried to take our plates before we were finished. Once the table was cleared they immediately gave us the dessert menus. At this point we were on to them so we continued talking and told them we weren't ready to order. After only ten minutes, the manager came over and asked us if we wanted dessert. We ordered two desserts. They never offered us coffee. They brought the check while we were eating dessert. We were there for a total of one hour and fifteen minutes for appetizers, dinner and dessert and that was with us trying to hold them off. We will NEVER go back again and we will be sure to share this story with everyone we know. I agree with the last two reviewers. They are victims of their own success and as far as I am concerned, eventually they will no longer be successful. Oh, one final note, the tables are so close together, don't plan on getting up to use the restroom during your meal or you'll end up knocking something over on the table next to you.
