Traditional Banana Pudding
This is the banana pudding I grew up eating. I think it's pretty traditional in the sense that it has a  meringue topping and homemade custard. I can enjoy the layered versions that use pudding mix and whipped cream,  but it sure doesn't bring back the memo...
Combine sugar, flour and salt in the top of a double boiler. Whisk in milk; cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Beat together egg and yolks, temper with 1/4 cup of hot milk liquid and whisk back into milk. Continue to stir until thick, about 5-8 minutes.

Baked Buffalo Chicken Taquitos
I put these together the other night in about 10 minutes. They were so good. I used rotisserie chicken, which I keep on hand often.  It comes in super handy and is so tasty. I think next time I'll put out a little effort and saute up some finely diced onion...
I think next time I'll put out a little effort and saute up some finely diced onions and red bell peppers. And since I'm doing that, I'm sure I'll throw in some fresh garlic. I think that added texture and color of the peppers would be great. If you're not a blue cheese fan, don't worry.

They just melt away into the oil and leave behind this heavenly not too salty bite. They are what turns this sauce into a work of art. Don't worry....you don't have to tell anybody they are in there. They won't even know. Give it a try. You'll thank me. Pin It Sausage Spaghetti 1 tbsp olive oil ...

Chocolate Banana Brownies
I didn't plan on posting these "Chocolate Banana Brownies" but midway through  eating a piece I thought, yep....I need to share. They're super easy to make and bake in about 20 minutes. While they're not a gooey brownie, they are really moist and with the c...

Key Lime Pie Ice Cream
Ok......so this just happened. This ice cream is so darn good.  It's so fresh and tangy and sweet and creamy. I mean, it has it all. I really enjoy it with chopped dark chocolate but it's just as good without. Whatever you're in the mood for, and I've found...
Mix together half and half, sugar, salt and vanilla. Let sit 10 minutes, whisking occasionally, until sugar has dissolved. Stir in heavy cream. Stir in lime juice right before you add the mixture to your ice cream machine. Freeze according to manufacture's directions.

Bacon Spinach & Tomato Sandwich with Avocado & Creamy Maple Balsamic Spread

You simply throw a variety of vegetables in a bowl and cover them with a layer of Miracle Whip, cheese and bacon, then let it sit over night. Hours later, stir it up, and you have something really special. I know most of you have either heard of it or tried it, but since the first time I made ...
