We have received confirmation of approval of our project requests for the $75,000 offered by PG&E for drought augmentation hazardous fuel reduction projects.

$7,000 for Pismo Heights fuel reduction project
• Combined with SLO FSC commitment of $10,000 this restores funding to Pismo Beach Focus Group's original request of $17,000. Project will consist of goat grazing, mastication, and hand crew work around the Pismo Heights subdivision.
$68,000 for Hazardous Tree Removal
• Allows for funding to remove hazard trees that threaten to fall on infrastructure, access / egress roadways, or buildings. Alan Peters advises there are several such trees along the Bridge Street fuel break and Fiscalini Ranch Preserve properties. The funds may be used countywide if needed.
