Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain model year 2016 GranTurismo and GranTurismo Convertibles manufactured June 24, 2015, to September 2, 2015.

The affected vehicles were built with passenger side door latch components that were not heat treated. If the door latch was not heat treated, in the event of a crash, the door latch may fail allowing the door to open, increasing the risk of injury.

Ford has issued a recall for 2010 and 2011 models of the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan.

Owners of these vehicles will be receiving a recall notice by mail. Ford says "Some of these vehicles might have a canister purge valve that does not work properly, causing internal pressure changes inside the fuel tank. Repeated pressure changes inside the tank could result in a crack on the top of the tank, possibly allowing fuel to leak".

Tesla is conducting a voluntary recall as a proactive and precautionary measure to inspect all front Model S seat belts and make absolutely sure that they are properly connected.

Tesla recently found a Model S in Europe with a front seat belt that was not properly connected to the outboard lap pretensioner. This vehicle was not involved in a crash and there were no injuries. However, in the event of a crash, a seatbelt in this condition would not provide full protection.

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Sonata vehicles manufactured December 11, 2009 to June 30, 2011.

In the affected vehicles, the brake pedal stopper pad can deteriorate allowing the stop lamp switch plunger to remain extended when the brake pedal is released, which leads to miscommunication to rear vehicles and also transmission can be shifted out of park, either conditions increase the risk of a crash.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain model year 2016 528i, 528i xDrive, 535i, 535i xDrive, 535d xDrive, M5, 550i, 550i xDrive, and 535d sedans.

The affected vehicles have an inboard lower anchor for child restraints on the left rear seat that may have been bent downwards, preventing the child seat from fully engaging both lower anchors.If the child seat is not properly attached to the lower anchors, it can increase the child's risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Kia Motors America (Kia) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Kia Soul and Soul EV vehicles manufactured January 18, 2014, to September 30, 2015.

In the affected vehicles, the adhesive used to secure the steering pinion gear to the steering gear assembly may have insufficient strength, and as a result, the pinion gear may separate from the steering gear assembly which might lead to loss of steering thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling one model year 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost manufactured on January 23, 2014. The affected vehicle has thorax air bags fitted to both front seats that may fail to meet the side impact performance requirements for the front seat occupants.

In the event of a vehicle crash necessitating air bag deployment, this may increase the risk of injury to the front seat passengers.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (MBUSA) is recalling certain model year 2008-2009 C300 Sedan, C300 4Matic, C63 AMG, and C350 vehicles, and 2010 GLK350 and GLK350 4Matic vehicles.

Due to a manufacturing error, the air bag control unit may corrode and cause the control unit to malfunction.

Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. today announced that it is conducting a safety recall of approximately 31,000 Model Year 2013-2015 Avalon, Avalon Hybrid, Lexus ES350 and ES300h sedans.

In the involved vehicles, under certain situations, the PCS (Pre-Collision System) could interpret a steel joint or plate in the roadway as an object that triggers PCS activation. If this occurs, the PCS warning buzzer sounds and the system may apply the service brake automatically. Unexpected braking could increase the risk of a crash.

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. (Honda) is recalling 515 vehicles of certain model year 2016 CR-V manufactured October 12, 2015, to October 19, 2015. 

The metal housing surrounding the driver's air bag inflator in these vehicles may have been manufactured incorrectly.Only thirty of these vehicles were sold to customers in the U.S. prior to dealer notification to stop sales of the affected vehicles.
