Keeping up with yesterday’s theme of marketing to different generations, John Rampton’s article today on Entrepreneur.com, 9 Things You Need to Know to Give Millennials Great Customer Service, highlights the ways in which millennials are different from their parents and grandparents and how your customer service can be optimized to keep them as part of your network of customers. One of the most interesting points in my opinion was Rampton’s statement that millennials won’t think twice about leaving a company. Unlike older generations, millennials will ignore any feelings of loyalty and move on to the competition if your customer service experience is not dynamic enough.
