Isn't the new Gmail pretty! Todays is a bright orange an white umbrella on a light blue sunny sky. And I think they've broken the elements apart so there's space between them. A very nice make over! Good job, Google

Had a wonderful lunch with my sweet stepdaughter and her little boy - THIS is the reward for sticking with it as a stepparent through the tough teenaged years!

have you tried Groupon? I just started -it's free, too. Jo and I each bought 2 movie tickets for $2.00 each (4 altogether) from Fandango, that will work at all of our local theaters. When Jo joined under my ref. number and made the purchase, I got $10.00 credit for future purchases, so my Bonus paid for all four of our tickets. They're at Groupon.com

Grab this free instructional package for creating presentations using your Mac. I got mine free and if you follow this link, I'll also get a credit toward future instructions from Cult of Mac.

I've come to believe that There is Always Cause and Effect. Either way you may act, there will always be reciprocating effects. Treat your spouse and/or stepkids kindly and it will come back to you (eventually); treat them badly and they will repay you in spades!

one of my favorite romantic song lyrics:
"It's hard to kiss the lips at night
that chew my a$$ out all day long."

Neal Diamond was one of my favorites growing up - I know, I was an odd teenager, but I liked his stuff, especially Cracklin' Rose.

The new facility (built 2007, opened in 2011) is spacious, conveniently located, and fully stocked with not only a goodly selection of books (paper and audible), but electronic avenues to ebooks. Twenty-one computer stations allow patrons access to Internet services, as does a moderately fast wifi signal. Checkout is more user-friendly with self-service for local card holders. A large meeting room is available when not in use for the many programs held there for families, children, and groups.

When the hurricane destroyed the original Murdocks, we were broken hearted to lose such a dear memory of our frequent visits to Galveston. However, the new version is even better! The seating and viewing area is spacious and comfortable, the selection of souvenirs is greater, and the atmosphere is more friendly. A must stop for everyone visiting the island!

Great fun for a family! The battling bumper boats were some of the most fun we had on our vacation. We will go back on our future visits!

ALWAYS take time to learn before you visit. I recall being impressed by the stateliness of the campus, and the beauty of the Book of Kells. I was sadly ignorant of the history and significance of the college. Learn all you can!

This was just another Denny's ... which means good basic food, generally well served. BUT what made this place stand out in our trip was our server, a young man named Jherod. He was so personable we stayed longer just to talk to him. He is a star! Although only 21 (as we found out while visiting), Jherod will distinguish himself in public service and probably business management. I will be quite surprised if he is not running some corporate office of Denny's or another food service company in the not-too-distant future. Good job, Jherod!

Our family shared a two-king-sized-bed-room and were quite pleased. It's not the Ritz, but the prices are fair, it's very well located, has two pools, and the management bent over backwards to make us happy. Their free breakfast is very good and saves from $8.00 to $15.00 per person over the nearby restaurants - so it's a BIG attraction! Good place to stay if you're there for Branson and the shows.

Ashamed to say that 18 years ago when we visited here, I was vastly ignorant to the historical significance of this site of Irish independence. If I ever get back, I will respect the courage and resolve that took place within these walls by great men. All I can remember of my only visit was of an old, respectable looking building. Take time to learn before you go!
