JOB OPENING: Program Director, Phinney Neighborhood Association: http://bit.ly/1I7RztY
Because sometimes your dream job involves directing a tool library, soup kitchen, art gallery, education program, farmers market, home fair, and cultural engagement effort all at once. (And also because, at other times, it's helpful to work next door to Phinney Ridge Starbucks & Red Mill Burgers.)

One of my two favorite mobile units was seen rolling along in the Grand Parade today. If you didn't have a chance to cheer on the +West Seattle Food Bank's new van this morning, be sure to swing by West Seattle Outdoor Movies tonight to see Gravity on the wall of +Hotwire Online Coffeehouse. Proceeds will benefit both the West Seattle & White Center Food Banks.

There are very few places where you can witness back-to-back demonstrations of rapid prototyping and backyard beer making.  Don't miss your chance today at West Seattle GreenLife. Great demos all weekend!  http://www.sustainablewestseattle.org/2014/06/11787/

Perhaps the most promising proclamation of the Obama presidency. Hope you enjoy the first ever National Day of Making!
