Tamale Pie, II
I make Tamale Pie a few times a year for my husband, I used to put a bunch of unneeded stuff in it and try to fancy it up.  In the end he likes it fairly plain, so I decided to make him one last week and keep it basic. He likes the basic style even more tha...

Cauliflower Rice

I love to cook, but I don't measure much!
Introduction
I am not much into measuring, I cook by taste mostly. When I was first married I was unable to cook anything. With lots of tutoring from my husband, and countless hours of cooking shows, I have become a pretty good cook and baker!

This blog keeps me busy and us eating a large variety of meals.
Bragging rights
I retired after 13 years of doing Technical Support over the phone, I think I earned it. Now I have a bit more time to devote to cooking!

Wow, I have enjoyed 11 cars so far in my short life and this was by FAR the nicest buying experience I have ever had. I had been looking for a few months at BMW's, Cadillac's, and a few other high end cars. My husband spotted a 2013 Mercedes E350 with less than 7K miles, and every option available on their website. I called Brandon on a Wednesday and made an appointment to see the car on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., we were a bit late, but when we arrived our gorgeous car was clean and waiting INSIDE for our inspection. We went for a test drive in which he explained every bell and whistle. We knew we wanted it before we ever got there, so we negotiated a deal I was happy with and they were able to get me out of my Mazda 3 lease with very little pain. While we were doing the financial paperwork they brought the car around to the front entrance and detailed it one more time. We got the keys and off we went. We were thrilled with Brandon's service and helpful attitude and the efficiency of the whole process. He is an all around neat guy and a good person. I want to adopt him! It was a total bonus to have all the cars inside on a rainy day. They specialize in high end imports, so we were able to drool over a few Jags, Range Rovers, Porsche's and other cars way out of our reach. I am sure I will be seeing these folks again, although I do LOVE my new Mercedes. Stop by and see Brandon, you won't be pressured or feel like you are dealing with your usual used car Salesman. The entire company is wonderful.

I took my 10 year old GMC truck in to have the carpets and upholsery cleaned, they did an amazing job, it looks brand new! I am beyond thrilled and will be taking all my vehicles there from now on, as well as spreading the word to everyone I know. As an added bonus they are extremely nice and friendly, and five bucks for a loaner car, amazing!

This is our new favorite place for Italian Food, not just pizza. With the new Owners and the changes in the dining room this is not just a pizza joint anymore! It is beautiful on the inside and feels more like a Restaurant with their new table service. Their Pizza is top notch and their Pasta s and Sandwiches are awesome, I always have trouble making a decision on which I would like. They have a gorgeous wine bar and some amazing appetizers and a new happy hour from 4:00 to 6:00 I believe. They also have a large room in the back which is great for parties or sports get togethers. My favorite Sammy is the Philly Cheese Steak and don t get chips with it, get their Pasta Salad, it is better than mine, YUM. Go here, you will love it! It is not chain pizza place, they make your pizza and cook it on the spot so be prepared to wait a bit to get it, It is worth it!
