Scientists at a Scottish university are planning to create 3D printed brain tumours to learn more about the biology of brain cancer. Researchers currently study tumour cells in the lab in plastic dishes, but the cells behave differently in this environment than they do in a real tumour. They think testing potential treatments using this method will give results that are much closer to human tumours. #curebraincancer

We have Champion entry spaces available for Run Melbourne and we need you to fill them to help us retain our top fundraising spot! In previous years Team Cure Brain Cancer in Victoria has broken records in this iconic race, raising more money than any charity before in an Australian running event. Let's keep our crown! Sign up as a Champion entry runner and you'll not only get to start at the front on race day and join our after party, but you could be part of breaking another fundraising record! ‪#‎curebraincancer‬ ‪#‎Run4BrainCancer‬

A massive well done to all our HBF Run for a Reason participants who raised $89,500 at the weekend! Maddy Clohessy was the top fundraiser, running for the first time without her fiance Ben, who died in December at just 27. She was on a mission to push his fundraising total past $100K and she fulfilled his wish. Well done Maddy and Team Cracking the Cure, who together raised $52,000. A fantastic effort which Ben would no doubt be extremely proud of. #curebraincancer #HBFRun

It's ‪#‎clinicaltrialsday‬ marking the day in 1747 when James Lind started what is often considered to be the first randomized clinical trial. Today, we want to thank everyone who has taken part in clinical trials. Your participation benefits the whole brain cancer community, moving us closer to new treatment options. We're excited to be bringing innovative trials like GBM AGILE to Australia, which will start enrolling patients in the coming year. ‪#‎curebraincancer‬
