Let's get these kitties into forever homes, come on #Chicago! Please share... #rescue #cats
The rescuees from a "hoarding" house in Belmont Cragin would make good companions for other house cats.

I'm sure everyone has said this already, but Don Draper was/is not an Art Director. If you can't get that simple fact right about the primary character in a mega hit TV series, I can't put any value into any of your alleged 'journalism'. FAIL.

+Chris Herrmann Gillespie you're the first and thank-you. i enjoyed the piece but don draper's title is creative director and he rose to that position from being a copy writer. to me, it's a fairly major distinction and makes the whole vice team seem lazy to have missed the mistake even though it was just a puff piece.

All you folks talking about 'Missy Elliot's version' - I hope you do realize that Missy Elliot used a sample of Ann Peebles original 1970s hit version of this song on her rap - Missy didn't sing it! Missy's rap was nice - but the beautiful singing you're thinking of is all Ann Peebles.

The main objective of Rare Disease Day 2014 is to raise awareness with policy makers and the public of rare diseases and of their impact on the lives of patients, and to reinforce their importance as a public health priority.

Large, clean, organized store, clean bathrooms - but always seems 'picked over', I believe management or staff is cherry-picking on a professional level in this store. It seriously looks empty of anything worth buying, no matter when you go in, and pricing on items often is insanely high - or just insane. $74.99 for bad framed art? $15 for shirts? Meh. Handbags and purses are all plastic junk, and bad fakes, always - a sure sign of staff cherry picking. Hundreds of purses... all crap! In the housewares section, they also seem to have a standard policy for pricing "sets" individually - for example Salad server set? Each piece $4.99. Cream & Sugar set? Each piece $7.99. Covered casserole? Lid, dish and stand ALL priced individually. I am surprised they don't have pairs of shoes priced individually! With all that said, occasionally you will find items that have slipped under their cherry picking radar, so it is worth a visit if you are in the area - just not what I would call a 'destination' thrift shopping experience.

The worst P.O. I have ever experienced in 30+ years in Chicago. Mail carriers are all apparently temps - mail is not delivered or delivered in the middle of the night, or at 7 am ??!!, thrown onto the porch from the sidewalk, and try to schedule a pickup -- they will do everything they can do to NOT pickup packages, even tho USPS promotes this 'service' as one of the benefits of using Priority mail. Call there for help and you get attitude IF anyone even answers the phone. I drive 2 zip codes over to use another PO. Terrible across the board.

Everything I've had at Rex is delicious, carefully and beautifully made, with that authentic and correct balance of flavors that shows respect for tradition, these are the flavors of home -- perfected! My personal favorite is their Eggplant Sandwich, a sandwich that so many places get wrong. Rex understands what makes a great Eggplant Sammy -- theirs is one of the top versions of this classic Southern Italian sandwich that I've ever had in my life. Calzones are fabulous, their sausage is homemade and amazing, subs and salads are generous, delicious and fresh! Try their cookies, too - so good with an espresso! A really great neighborhood gem - plus delivery during some hours?! What's not to love?! I'd give Rex 6 stars if I could! LUV!!!!

2 hour wait to actually see Doctor. As you sit there, you'll see/hear multiple patients called for =your= appointment time, takes HMO patients - then treats them like cattle - I guess unaware that these people pay a lot of money and take time off of THEIR jobs to be there to get HELP - and instead are treated like they are animals or freeloaders. Honestly the worst attititude about care that I have ever seen in my life, and that includes free clinics I have been in on mercy missions to 3rd world countries. The doctor is additionally very rude, rushed and talks over you - does not want to do deal with you if you have actual health problems, and doesn't seem to be up to date on current treatments. then nasty if you have questions. Takes labs and does NOT give results, in spite of saying they will call with results - they do not - then when you call - you can't get through. Shouldn't be allowed to treat prisoners - and in spite of all the cosmetic treatments being sold and done at this place, be aware that this is NOT a plastic surgeon, folks. It is an alleged "family practice" doctor. Perhaps she is cheap, no idea anyone would trust their life or their looks with this person.
