Accounts refused to Connect Hi all - we have a teacher that is getting the error message below IN PLACE of the document when she launches Goobric. So the rubric is showing at the top of the screen but the frame that usually contains the document is just showing this. Things we tried:
-Cleared Cache
-Made sure she is only signed into ONE account in the browser (she is and was)
-Deleted Goobric and Doctopus from the Google Drive > Gear > Settings area and deleted the Goobric extenstion and re-added from scratch

She is choosing to INGEST her assignment from Classroom; her Classroom folder is in the correct place. We can see and pick the assignment just fine.

I'm stumped - I tested all this as another user in our district to make sure it wasn't a network issue and other users are not having a problem Help? Feedback? Thanks!

Google Docs & Analytics - I'm coming up empty on this with online searches and wondering if someone has any good ideas. Some older posts here point to using http://goo.gl but that service is going away.

ISSUE: We are fine-tuning our resources in our district and adding guides, handouts, helpful items to a Knowledgebase tool (3rd party and they don't have analytics for this and won't let us have access to put Analytics codes there). We want to track how many clicks/hits our resources are getting over time so we can know if they are being utilized by staff when needed and to give us more data to go on.

Any good way/strategy for tying Analytics to Google Docs or items in Google Drive? Or any way through the Admin panel to pull that kind of data? I tinkered and know I can do an Audit Report on a "Drive" file -- but that just appears to show me who accessed when and not overall data. Is there a better reporting option I should be using?

TIA.

Chrome Remove User bug in Version 70
Posting this here in case it helps others. We are starting to see Chrome Version 70 roll out to our devices. We have Acer C810 (13-inch laptops) for our students. We're noticing that if we try to REMOVE USER, the choice is not always visible on screen. I recorded a video of what's occurring (attached) and here are some text directions if you need a workaround. Video audio cuts out at the tail end, but you will get the jist.

WHAT'S HAPPENING
We think the 'longer' the student's name, it is forcing the option to 'remove user' out of the dialog box that pops up. We had a student with a 'short' name come in (joe.smith@franklinsabers.org as an example) and we could see REMOVE THIS USER just fine. The student we were working with had a long name (michael.jaberwockyextracalories@franklinsabers.org as a weird example) and the choice to REMOVE USER was not there.

WORKAROUND
The workaround is this...
1) At the sign in screen, press TAB to jump to the next available choice on screen until you get to the 'down arrow' next student's name.

2) Press ENTER once.

3) The first dialog box comes up with REMOVE THIS USER already in a blue square as selected, so press ENTER again to choose that.

4) The second dialog box appears with a longer dialog box asking 'are you sure you want to remove first.last@franklilnsabers.org' and hit ENTER a third time and the action will take effect even though the choice to "remove this user" is not visible on the screen.

Science Probes & Chromebooks? Anyone suggest any good science probes (temperature, pH, voltage, etc) that work with Chromebooks? Middle School science is looking for some.

Reuse Announcement Posts? Working with a teacher today who wants to "Reuse" Announcement postings from the past. She used to put out Announcements as a post with a Google Slide show or Doc attached for students. She would rather not have to recreate all those and just wants to pull them in from old classes but "Announcements" don't appear when you use the REUSE feature. Anyone figured a work around other than recreating the posts (copy/paste) and re-attaching files? We did submit this to GClassroom through the Feedback section already. Thanks!

Flip Chromebook Resources? Some of our students will be getting Acer Flip Chromebooks (stylus and android apps) this coming school year. I'm looking for resources for parents, students, teachers on how to use these devices in different/creative ways. Anyone have good 'getting started' type resources or creative lessons/apps to share? Thanks in advance...
