I was so excited to go to the zoo with my mom. I thought it would be a fun-filled day so I even cleared my schedule to spend time with her at the zoo, but I got discriminated against. I never thought this would happen to me and it did and at possibly one of my favorite places to go as a child. I will never be attending the Los Angeles Zoo ever again because of this occurrence with one worker. Personally, I do not want to give out names or descriptions of this person because I do not know what negativity may be going on through his life for him to be so hateful and mean. I never write reviews for anything and this is my very first tome. This situation I find myself in, made me have to write a review because it is 100% not fair.

Took my grandkids here last weekend. To say but was a fun day would be an understatement! They couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had. All the animals and picture taking with the kids made for a fun day. Will be heading back soon wih our other batch of grandkids!

Parking is free and fairly easy to find a spot with the very large lot and there is also a valet parking for $7 if you would like to try that. Summer months is usually very crowded and makes it for a not so fun experience walking all thru the zoo with the hot weather plus most animals don't come out much either. but you will always see the flamingos and several other animals been playful and active. There are some events held at the zoo at night and on weekends depending on the schedule. Bring a camera and lots of water.

We were very excited to go with family. Although we saw a good number of animals, Unfortunately we found many of the enclosures to be depressing because they are so small for such great, large creatures.

When you ignore the fact that zoo is kind of jail for animals. It is a very cool place, and to see young kids exited to see huge animals for the first time is not something that you can miss. I really feel bad for the animals, they have done nothing to be in jail, except for being beautiful and amazing, and for human to entertain. The place is clean and organized, and I felt that the people here really try to do a lot for the animals here.

Wife and I just bought a membership here. Great place to visit and learn. Staff are really friendly. Really enjoyed the elephant sessions with their trainers. The new rainforest part is a must see!

We went to "Brew at the Zoo" on August 7th and had a really fun night! Not only was the event well organized with live music, djs and tastings everywhere, but I was also really impressed with how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. One event staff saw us walk past a crowded area twice (surprised she even noticed us!) and approached us herself saying, "you look like you are trying to find something, how can I help you?" Of course, the zoo during the daytime is always fun- the bird show is a highlight!

Love it: Me and my husband and the kids love going here and spend some time together as a family. We love to get the membership so it could be easier to go in the zoo. If u want to spend some time together as a family this is the place to come.☆♡☆♡♡♡
