My niece Julia, and a bunch of her friends started a theater company last year and they produced an original musical, which they wrote, directed, performed, etc… This year they want to do “Clue: The Musical” and have to buy rights (1.3K), among other expenses, so they’ve started a fundraising drive. They’ve been working since September in planning and auditioning, and started rehearsals in earnest in January and will perform the show in late May, assuming they make their funding goals.
These kids do EVERYTHING themselves. They have no adult sponsors or supervisors and are not associated to the high school (in fact, they have participants from all around the bay area schools). They organize, they write, audition, rehearse, build costumes, props, etc., design lights, direct, book venues, sell tickets, market…everything! Please help if you can :)
