Glad to be someone that gets to share in all three of your activities.
I have a few different groups I #swim, #bike and/or #run with now and have met many new great people. These type of groups exist everywhere you just have to look a bit harder. ** 133 runs for 423 miles in 87 hours. A lot of t...

Getting started
I wanted to find a place to bring it all together.  There are too many things going on in my life and none of the singly warrant a focused blog.  Instead there will be a mix of work, family, adventure, and plain old life.

Dude, I have developed some kind of cough/chest congestion too.  First it was the Marcothon Flu, now the Marcothon cough.  Maybe it was all of that cold air inhalation.
Today was not easy.  I'm trying to fight something off.  My chest feels a bit heavy and all of a sudden, I have a bit of a cough.  I feel really good other than those stupid things.  Also today, I had to go into the city for ...

Take care of yourself, Jeffry.  Make it to the finish line in one piece.  That's what I'm trying to do.

As long as we keep having fun it's all good my friend.  Just admit it, you are a runner.
Today was more than a bit silly in my head.  It sounds like Tabitha had an awesome inspiring run.  Me?  Well, not quite. I set out and was feeling pretty good.  Music today Kaiser Chiefs / Off With Their Heads - I like this b...

That is exactly why I admire and respect my running friends who are mom's and still slice and dice time like no others!
Saying today was a shuffle, can't even begin to explain the "moving and shaking" that Priscilla and I enjoyed on our 6am run.  With nearly 4" on the ground, and 18 degrees (a "feels like" of 10) - the true challenge of Marcot...

As long as the first layer is clean, outerlayers don't matter for solo runs.

Day 16 - 17 - Archer - wearing me done
The Marcothon miles are having a cumulative affect on the legs.  Not that I have every been "fast."  My running the last two night have  been like drudgery.  The left knee has been slightly tender, the plantar fasciitis on the right foot it flaring, and bot...

That's why I run in wool socks.  Atleast the feet stay somewhat warm when wet.

December 7 - Archer - back to running joy
My fellow HFCRC friends at at 7:00 am in 10 degree with a little windchill.  I laid awake for awhile and was tempted to join them, but I had other plans.  The only real issue with the Marcothon is the amount of concrete pounding my body is absorbing.  The p...
