It's about time for another one of these. I have a whole bunch of sausages and want to break out the BBQ, so lets eat meat.

Today I learned how to make Drupal write a block only in the event that a user has a specific cookie set. This is only the first step. The next step is COOKIE MADNESS.

As part of Friday and my training, we're going to ride 100km. This ride will take us across five cities and two countries and looks intimidating. Then you look at the elevation profile and realize it's entirely flat the whole way. The hardest part is getting into Burnaby. I'm not kidding.

We meet at the southernmost end of John Hendry Park, on BC Parkway at 19th.

Not feeling up to the whole 100km? We have three stops on the way back to drop people off at busses. One at the ferry, which will connect you to the Canada line, another at Ladner Exchange to send you off by a number of different busses. Finally, those who feel like it can take the tunnel shuttle, and ride back Richmond. Sounds fun, no?

This is a classic tour style ride. We're going to ride slow, stop for food along the way, and relax. I predict it will take us all day - by which I mean we will be back around 8pm.

The single speeds down here all have really wimpy gear ratios.
