Please fill out the online evaluation form if you haven't already. Below are the instructions.


Welcome to ACE Online!



This system will allow you to complete your course evaluations for all of your courses. You will have between 12:00 AM on Sun, Aug 7, 2016 PDT and 12:00 AM on Sat, Aug 13, 2016 PDT to complete your course evaluations for the current semester.

Below you will find a list of course that you can complete evaluations for:

PHYS5000 - Workshops & Special Training in Physics : Yasar Onel

This online evaluation system can be accessed from internet connected device (computer, laptop, iPad, tablet, or smart phone).

You can access the system by following the steps below:

Access through ICON:

Go to the ICON homepage (icon.uiowa.edu).
Enter your HawkID and password.
From the ICON Dashboard click on "Student Tools".
Click on "Course Evaluations (ACE)".
The online course evaluation system will open in a new tab.
You will need to log again using your HawkID and password.
Once logged in you will see a list of the courses you need to evaluate.
Click on the button labeled "Evaluate" next to the course you wish to evaluate.
Answer the questions as you see fit.
Continue to the next page to review your answers.
Once satisfied with your responses click the button labeled "Finish".
Access through myUI:

Go to the myUI homepage (myui.uiowa.edu).
Click on "Course Evaluations".
You will need to log again using your HawkID and password.
Once logged in you will see a list of the courses you need to evaluate.
Click on the button labeled "Evaluate" next to the course you wish to evaluate.
Answer the questions as you see fit.
Continue to the next page to review your answers.
Once satisfied with your responses click the button labeled "Finish".

Course evaluations are a very important part of the teaching process and your honest feedback is appreciated.

FINAL PROJECT:

Send me an email or google doc that contains a response to all of the following:

1) What part of this week did you find the most helpful for your situation at your school?

2) What aspect of this week do you plan on incorporating into your class or sharing with your students?

3) What supports would you need in order to make implementing your new particle physics experiences into your classroom?

4) Do you feel that the topics this week fit into the new Iowa Science Standards (NGSS)?

5) What steps has your district made in adopting the new Iowa Science Standards and what help do you think your district needs to aid in its implementation?
