I do not see why it's an either/or proposition. I have it set up to send select posts to FB and twitter - same as I can do with hootsuite. But I think part of the critical mass is that FB and twitter have already created a demand/value/understanding of the functions that G+ offers. I'm not surprised that adoption has been this fast. What I AM seeing more than even with twitter is a real "tech elite" attitude that is not attractive to me. I've uncircled several of the more vocal techies whose posts make it clear that in THEIR minds I would be considered a "lower class citizen" here. As it reaches a wider audience I may enjoy my experience here more. Until then, I find FB and twitter far more welcoming.
