Eirik Solheim took 16,000 photos through his window in Oslo over the course of 2010. The images were 3888 pixels wide, so he chose 3888 of the photos and assembled a 1-pixel-wide strip of each, in chronological order, into this collage. It's sort of a time-lapse, expressed as a still image.

Ok, so the good news is that classic DNA inheritance accounts for 80% of your epigenetic DNA methylation pattern. Then again.... 20% of your inherited DNA methylation pattern is caused by environmental factors affecting your parents, right? So..... if your parents were baby-boomers, you're kind of USC?
http://genomebiology.com/2014/15/5/R73/abstract
Despite the important role DNA methylation plays in transcriptional regulation, the transgenerational inheritance of DNA methylation is not well understood. The genetic heritability of DNA methylation has been estimated using twin pairs, although concern has been expressed whether the underlying assumption of equal common environmental effects are applicable due to intrauterine differences between monozygotic and dizygotic twins. We estimate the ...

The staff is always friendly, organized and polite. The providers are responsive and willing to discuss any concerns or track down the origin of a weird symptom, which is fantastic. Many times practitioners can be dismissive, and that leaves the patient feeling unheard. I came in concerned that my hair had suddenly started falling out mid-pregnancy, and while they were not convinced it was important, they were absolutely willing to run a few tests to make sure I was okay. It turned out I had low iron, so I was really pleased they took the time to listen and respond to my worries. Further, I switched to this practice at about 4 months pregnant, because of problems at my previous doctor's office, and I have been absolutely satisfied with that decision. I look forward to delivering my baby with one of the doctors at Atrium, and to continuing my well-woman care with them for years to come.
