Ohio adheres to going-and-coming rule
Under Ohio’s version of the going-and-coming rule, if an employee has a fixed place of employment, an injury sustained by the employee is not covered by workers’ compensation benefits. However, if travel is an integral part of the worker’s employment duties, injuries sustained during the course of travel will be covered by workers’ comp.
