This is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. Wonderful service, great atmosphere, spectacular food. My wife is vegan and I am not, but at Indigma this is not a problem at all. Tony, one of the owners (and chefs, I believe) is always very accommodating to questions we have and takes time to explain things thoroughly. The food is relatively inexpensive for a nicer place, presented very well, and it tastes AMAZING. It is probably the most interesting food I've ever eaten. It is complex in its simplicity, if that makes any sense. The martini list is ever-changing and I've never had one that I didn't like (and at $9, they are a steal!) I've read online that "this isn't authentic/great/spicy Indian food," and, well.. It's not. It's a fusion of cuisines mainly from India, but also from surrounding countries. If you're looking for good, traditional Indian food, go to Akbar up the street. I would highly recommend this to everyone, everywhere.

We used to go there somewhat regularly but we found the service declined and they became inhospitable to families.

DECOR: Rich and spacious interior and tall ceilings complimented with gorgeous chandeliers. On Saturdays 6-9 pm you can enjoy Sitar (Indian musical instrument) recital by the talented Ryan Mc Bride. This is a good change than listening to shady Bollywood songs at such Indian joints. Unfortunately, no one pays attention to what Ryan is playing, everyone is too busy chatting loudly or eating. FOOD: We only tried Indo-Chinese menu items; Gobi Manchurian (appetizer) and Chilli Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice (main course). Both Manchurian and Chilli Chicken was tangy and based in tomato sauce (no way is it near to the soya sauce based authentic Indo-Chinese dishes). Also, the Fried Rice was very peppery and spicy. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND INDO-CHINESE AT INDIGMA. For desserts we ordered the Pistachio Kulfi. It was too sweet and we forced ourselves to finish it. SERVICE: The staff is very polite and friendly and the Manager periodically enquires about the food, service, performance, etc. PRICE: Indigma is not economical. Our total was $42 and the food is just not worth this price.

This is one of our favorite indian restaurants. Food is always great, and the buffet is large with an excellent variety (and ALL great tasting). We have been going here for a few years and our first time there was by accident, and we're glad of that. Now every time we're in Baltimore, that's where we go. Service is great and very courteous. The owner is always there helping out and pleasant to talk to. In fact, if something doesn't make sense, or any comments, let him know. Very nice atmosphere and we enjoy looking out at the Washington Monument (of Baltimore) there. You wouldn't be disappointed going here.

Bad customer service & management. A customer approached me saying I need to make my kids behave because it was bothering them and manager came to us saying we have to leave. Ridiculous!!

The WORST Indian buffet in our experience. Salt predominated the flavor of EVERYTHING. Food was almost inedible Naan was stale, rice was dry. Head waiter was rude, rushing us directly from front door to buffet. He lied and said that there was no more rice pudding, and another waiter kindly fetched us some from the kitchen. To add insult to injury, we were shortchanged! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Had good Indian food in the restaurant after a long time We hardly go to Indian restaurant because I am an Indian and I cook really good Indian food. Whenever we go to Indian restaurant we get disappointed. We thought of giving this restaurant a try. Ambiance was really good and we didn't have to wait for the table. Menu was really impressive. Appetizers were bit disappointment not that great. Veg thali was really great with 3 curries,1 daal, Rice, Puri and Dessert. Curries were very tasty specially paneer butter masala. Must try for the vegetarians. Lamb dish was also tasty and flavorful. So overall experience was great. Next time going there for Lunch Buffet.
