Our TS40 Flashing LED Edge Lit Stop Signs conform to the specifications of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) set forth in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Using the latest advances in LED technology, the TS40 employs a set of synchronized high-intensity LEDs to extend the range of visibility of the sign during the day or night. Furthermore, the LEDs are flashed, which increases driver awareness of the sign.

Honolulu may give pedestrians a head start when crossing the street. By changing the timing of the walk signals and green lights, pedestrians in a crosswalk would get a 3 to 7 second head start on the vehicle traffic that's going in the same direction.

GYR Traffic Signal Inpavement Light:
The GYR is a unidirectional inpavement light designed to work in sync with traffic signal lights for crosswalk applications. GYR lights help prevent accidents two ways: (1) by providing an extra street-level indication of the signal light status, and (2) by forming a visual stop bar between vehicles and pedestrians in the crosswalk. The GYR lights are operated by the traffic light controller and display the same color: green, yellow or red. The heavy-duty body casting is load bearing and manufactured from corrosion resistant anodized aluminum or stainless steel.
