I like broccoli alone, with potatoes. Sometimes I cook lots of broccoli and eat along the day. The better dressing is a tea spoon of olive oil; it's better to put the oil while the broccoli are still hot. The only salt we use is while we are cooking, in the water, and very little. The broccoli, when it's coocked, must have the exact look it had before cooking.

You cook the potatoes you want. One potatoe and some broccoli are an excellent lunch. However, 2 hours and you will be hungry... take a potatoe to your work.

Cool tip from my friend the (not so) Amateur Gourmet: the spaghetti test! Did you know about this? I confess I just use a knife and don't worry about the "intrusion mark", but will try it next time. (Need to buy spaghetti first!)
