Hi people,

We've spent the last 18 months working on Dikalo in order to change the way people do messaging.

So what is Dikalo?

Dikalo is an realtime, GWT based messaging platform that helps you communicate with anyone just with a simple key or link. Because Dikalo is designed to work only with a code you can use it without ever setting up an account. No Email, No phone number, no sign up required. Ever.

You create a conversation, share the key with the person you want to connect with. Thats it. For ever

We wanted to build a messaging app that you can use for all occasions. Not only with friends and family. But also with people you dont know(maybe you are buying/selling something online). With people you just met(maybe at a conference). Or with people you are just connected for a short period of time (maybe a business transaction)

With Dikalo you decide what private information you share with whom. We do not force you to share anything with us before even sending the first message. You are in total control.

Today we are launching in beta on the web and desktop for windows, mac and linux. Native mobile apps will come mid January.

Dikalo can be found here : https://dklo.co
or download the desktop clients here: https://dklo.co/downlads

Here's the story behind Spark and why we created it:

For any feedback , critics please join the Dikalo feeback group at : https://www.dklo.co/#/hja9Yz

We cant wait to hear what you think

Cheers,

Alain

It s not as easy as it looks. Specially when it comes to syncing across devices. But to answer we are not even trying to protect the idea. We will compete on the innovation level. :)

Pretty exited to share Dikalo with you.

Dikalo (which means message/news in a Bantou language) is our attempt to create a messaging app that works the right way.

Wait ? What ? A messaging app ? In the area of big names like Whatsapp ? Google Allo ? Facebook Messenger and co ?
Do we need yet another messaging app ?

We firmly believe yes.

Dikalo will help you easily connect with people you know but also with people you dont know.

No email, No phone number. Even no signup required.Ever.

Read more about it here : https://welcome.dklo.co/faq/

We will release Dikalo soon in Beta.

Please let us know what you think.

Cheers,

Alain

Hi Folks!

Today I would love to share Sanuma with you.
Sanuma is a simple, free beautiful online photo gallery

https://desk.ahome-it.com/#!@/snm

You can view pull photos from your hard drive or any supported cloud service.
Sanuma currently supports Google Photos, Instagram, Twitter, Flicker.
Facebook and other services are coming soon.

Note that Sanuma only display your photos in a beautiful gallery.
We do NOT store your photos on our servers.
When you display photos from the local file system we read and display then on the client.
For any connected cloud service we only read the url of the photos and display then on the client.

What s next ?
- Mobile client
- Support for more cloud service. Specially Facebook
- User registration and persistence of settings
- Upload a picture to multiple service from one place
- And more … 

Please keep in mind that this is beta release. So expect some bugs.

Looking forward to hearing your feeback !
