I have a relatively well established podcast (conversationsondancepod.com). Our usual set up is two hosts with a guest. We are starting to do more in person interviews and I need to boost our equipment. We currently have two Samson Q2U USB Microphone. The hosts have been sharing one mic, which obviously is not preferable. We still have quite a low budget, but I would like to invest in two more Samson mics (in case we ever have 2 guests) and I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of a mixer that will work best, or anything else I will need to record 4 channels. I am considering switching to recording in Adobe premier, and I have a Macbook Pro. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi everyone! I conduct most of my podcast interviews via Skype and record with ecamm Call Recorder for Skype. I am using a Samson Q2U Handheld Dynamic USB Microphone on my end. I edit my episodes via GarageBand. I find that from my end, sometimes the mic is a different distance from the speaker's mouth, causing an issue with the volume. Is there anyway to normalize volume in GarageBand? I can't seem to find anything online. Thanks!
