I am a big fan of the Capital Grille, although until visiting the Baltimore location, I have only been to the Tysons Corner, VA location. Baltimore was just as spectacular - both the food and the service were excellent. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday so we splurged and got appetizers, entrees and dessert. I had the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella with tomatoes to start - basically an upscale caprese salad but the tomatoes were divine and the aged balsamic vinegar was divine. Both our steaks were perfectly cooked and my filet was really tender. The creme brulee and cheesecake were the perfect end to a delicious meal. It's not cheap but it's well worth the price!

All of the food was perfectly seasoned; thank you Chef Mike. The service and ambience were superior.

MY FAMILY AND I VISITED THIS RESTAURANT THE LATTER PART OF JANUARY. WE WERE THERE ON A SUNDAY SO THE PLACE WAS NOT SUPER BUSY. I DO AGREE WITH SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS THAT THERE ARE MINOR ISSUES WITH THE FOOD. A COUPLE OF THE MEALS WERE NOT VERY HOT AND ONE WAS RETURNED TO BE HEATED. HAD THE FILET AND LOBSTER TAILS, IT WAS VERY GOOD. THE SIDE DISHES WERE EXCELLENT. THE THING THAT MY FAMILY AND I APPRECIATE THE MOST IS SERVICE. LOTS OF PLACES SERVE FOOD VERY FEW ESTABLISHMENTS HAVE STAFF THAT MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE ROYALTY. OUR WAITER, MARKUS BAYLOR, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I LOVE AND APPRECIATE PEOPLE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY WHO UNDERSTAND AND GET WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE DOING. THANKS MARKUS FOR A WONDERFUL EVENING.

Tried the restaurant during restaurant week...I am assuming that my poor experience and that of the party next to us was due to the high volume. I called my best friend before we arrived to dinner as he is as much of a foodie as I to get his opinion on the restaurant and he "hmmmmmmed and haaaaaaahhhed" about it. Ordered the filet mignon medallions and my companion ordered a steak although the name slips my mind. I am a visual foodie to the max...cannot stress that enough, and the medallions with the heirloom tomotaes and mashed potatoes looked heavenly...I ordered them medium well and cut into the first one....did not have the taste sensation that I thought that I would have...it was ok...not good...not bad...just ok. I offered a piece to my companion and THAT is when the horror began...as he cut into the second medallion, blood started running down the plate...it was seared on the outside and completely raw on the inside...not brown with a bit of pink, but RAW. Needless to say, our waiter Paul Morales, was exceptional and did everything he could to alleviate this situation, despite my insistence that I just would not eat it. A manager came to our table and offered to "throw it back on the grill for me" (which would have made the outside a charcoled nightmare....needless to say, the chef had more sense and class than that, and prepared me a fresh one. What is weird is that my companion ordered his steak the same way, and his was overcooked...now onto dessert...ordered the flourless chocoale espresso cake with raspberry coulis and when it arrived to the table...it smelled like nothing that I had ever smelled before...the smell of espresso was rich but not overpowering and the cake itself smelled like pure cocoa (trust me, I have ground cocoa beens in the dominican republic and I knnnnoooowww what fresh pure cocoa smells like). the raspberry coulis was dressed around the cake in a decadent fashion that made me wish that my cellphone camera had not died so that I could take a picture of it to commemorate the day that my love affair with this desert began...however my visual love affair came to an abrupt end when I saw fruitflies...yes...fruitflies...crawling on the raspberries...I was mortified, yet somehow the only thing that I could do was giggle( maybe it was my champagne drink...phenomenal by the way..wish I knew the name of that as well) At this point the needle came off of the record and the party was over...Paul informed a manager of the lovely fruitflies that were enjoying my raspberries...and he offered to make me a fresh one to take home. Needless to say...Paul was amazing, his service was a cut above the rest, best service that I have ever had at any establishment and I have dined at some of the finest restaurants in and out of the country ..I just wish that the food had been. Even with my meal comped...the bill was still about $120 for 4 drinks, one restaurant week meal, and Paul's tip...the only thing that my companion did not complain about was Paul's tip...well...well...deserved.

I loved the Capital Grille near where I live so I expected a lot from their Baltimore location. I'm happy to say that they more than lived up to my expectations. Every bite of my meal was outstanding from the appetizer all the way to my killer desert. The service was outstanding and I'll be sure to return the next time I'm in town.

This is my favorite restaurant. Food is always great and the service is always unparalleled. My two favorite waiters that I request whenever i visit are Tom and Scott. They are awesome and will make you feel like royalty. This restaurant understands what it means to be in the service business.

I dined at Capital Grille for the first time during restaurant week. I was surprised I wasn't blown away by the food, so I wrote a quick review. I was contacted by two separate managers shortly after to talk about my experience and apologize. Talk about customer service. Very genuine. As if the call alone wasn't enough to change my mind about CG, they then mailed me a generous gift card. We dined with them again and the food was outstanding. The service was exceptional (Kevin) and I did not feel babied at any time. Well done, CG, we will see you again.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary and it was amazing. The service and food was top notch. The steak was cooked perfectly and was hands down the best cut of meat I've ever eaten. Dry aged and lightly seasoned, it was rich tasting and buttery. No need to chew it, it just dissolved into a magical rainbow forest of deliciousness. We can't wait to go back some day.
