Every day we are faced with challenges. These challenges range from losing our car keys to the death of a loved one. The most important thing that we can do for ourselves when faced with stressful events is to first and foremost evaluate the severity and meaning of the situation.

To help calm the morning rush getting the kids off to school, try these tips:  1. Place a square storage cube for each child by the front door.  Have them place their school backpack, sports equipment and jackets in it the night before.  2.  Get healthy school lunches ready the night before and place in lunch bags unique to each child in the refrigerator.  The next morning, everyone can grab and go!

De-stressing can be good for your health. Enjoy your summer!

Our days get so packed full of running kids around, working, and other activities, that we often forget to just “be.” Where do you feel the most relaxed? If you don’t have a special quiet place, maybe look to create one. Save a little time in the day to make yourself a priority: read a book, go for a walk, meditate, etc. Taking care of yourself will pay off in more “weighs” than one!
