Goodness, it is soggy up your way.  We've had the most strange summer down here in lower South Australia.  Heaps of rain (our tanks are still full!) and we seem to have dodged a lot of the 40C heatwaves that Adelaide and other areas got.  I won't complain as summer is my least favourite season.  I like the other 3 seasons much more! I can only imagine what a ripe banana straight off that cluster must taste like, so good!

What beautiful memories you have of your gorgeous mum.  I have been without my Dad half my life, me being 50 and he passed away 25 years ago.  Lots of good memories of my dear Dad.

If I can find them in the supermarket, I will give the quiches a go tonight - I was given a dozen farm fresh googies on the weekend.

Thank you for sharing and keeping it real. I'm sorry things haven't worked out but As you said, its best to move on and get on with it, broken heart and all! Wishing you all the best in the future and please keep blogging just as you have been. Hugs to you,

It thinks its a fantastic idea. Will you get to see the little gowns that are created from your dress? I can imagine the families must really appreciate receiving these beautiful gifts.

I'd forgotten about these. I made a batch back in 2009 (although my girls were big then). They are so cute!
Here's the link to mine...

I made similar type scones this week as I had no bread rolls in the freezer. They can also be placed on top of a casserole like dumplings. Yummy for this cold weather we are having! That soup looks divine!

Well done!  That is a huge achievement, akin to having a book published.  Just think, your ancestors will be able to read and see what you got up to (not to mention the floods you survived).  Very cool!

I have two daughters, 23 and 20 years old. Its five years since the eldest went to live away for Uni. We've always got together for Easter and the girls always get new pyjamas for Easter. This year we are heading to Sydney for the 4 days over Easter so that should be fun but they need new ugg boots so no new pj's this year! I love that they still love to hang out with us!
