What's your best translation to English for the awesome expression, “Yo programo como juego ajedrez: ¡a la loca!”?  It has stayed with me through the years, but I have yet to find a good way to convey it in English.

Edit: Got an email from the original author of that expression asking me to remove his name from this post, he doesn't want to be identified with that expression anymore...

I'd say maybe: I program as I play chess: frantically!

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.” ~ CS Lewis

What about those who treat it as a term for age restricted content?

I lived for ~8 months in Venezuela in ~2005.  This post roughly matches my experiences/perspective even back then.

If you're still wondering, "Chavez: good guy, bad guy, something in between? Hasn't he decreased poverty and increased education?" This is an interesting inside view by someone who's been living in Venezuela for 5 years (the second, longer comment).

Ok, you see, people like you piss me off for many reasons. Now before I start my rant let me make a disclaimer, I am not Venezuelan, however I current...

Not as  familiar as you with the Venezuela's situation, but my impression is that  Venezuela's government, perhaps originally guided  by  idealistic interests, was flawed in the execution and sustainability of those interests, and now it seems to be only serving personal purposes at the expense of people.

Is that your new car? Seems you're ready for the winter! A little overkill, isn't it?

OpenBSD 5.2, released last week, adds support for advanced and innovative concepts such as kernel-level threads, “allowing multithreaded programs to utilize multiple CPUs/cores” before 2013!

I kid you not: http://www.openbsd.org/52.html
