Bio-cement and 3D printing regenerate human bone tissue

Regenerating human bone tissue involves diverse scientific research fields. From old plaster molds to advanced orthopedic surgery, prosthesis, bioengineering all aim to repair, regenerate and mold the bone tissue. Russian scientists achieved a new breakthrough creating a new ‘bio-cement’ material based in biological hydroxyapatite. 3D printing the new material into a bone fracture of fissure helps the human body regenerating the damaged or missing part of the bone tissue and dissolves overtime. Conjugating 3D scanning, printing, and new bio-materials provides a unique method.
